I didn’t come to this work from the outside. I have spent over two decades as an account leader in creative and advertising agencies — building client relationships, leading teams, and navigating the particular pressure of a role that’s expected to deliver everything at once.

It wasn’t until I stepped away, trained as a coach, and came back to agency life with new eyes that I saw the gap clearly: account leaders are so focused on the client that they under-invest in the people around them — and that’s exactly what limits their results. The best client relationships aren’t built on service alone. They’re built on teams that are developed, motivated, and operating at their full potential.

That insight is the foundation of this practice.

Experience shaped by change.

I started my career in pharmaceutical advertising. The work was demanding and I was good at it. Then I was diagnosed with a progressive, incurable lung disease, and that shifted everything. It introduced a level of uncertainty I hadn’t had to navigate before, and it changed how I think about control, progress, and what actually matters.

My husband and I eventually made the decision to leave what was familiar and relocate to Europe to pursue entrepreneurship. During that period, I worked with a coach for the first time, navigating decisions about my health, my work, and how I wanted to move forward. That experience changed me, and it led me to pursue formal coaching training.

When I returned to agency life, I found that coaching skills fundamentally changed how I worked and led. I started paying attention differently — to the people on my team, to what motivated and fulfilled them, to the connection between developing people and growing client relationships. The results were different, the work was more fulfilling, and I couldn’t unsee it.

I’ve navigated more change and uncertainty than I anticipated in this life — personally and professionally. That experience shapes how I work with clients. I know what it takes to keep leading when the ground keeps moving. And I know what becomes possible when you finally have the tools, the clarity, and the support to operate at the level you’re actually capable of.
